Chrome Restoration

Bring classic automotive, motorcycle, and decorative parts back to brilliant, mirror-like life.

Whether you're restoring a classic car, refreshing a motorcycle, rescuing vintage trim, or bringing old decorative pieces back from the dead, our chrome restoration process delivers a clean, reflective, show-ready finish. If your original chrome is pitted, peeling, dull, or faded — we can revive it.

WHAT WE CAN RESTORE

We restore the decorative chrome appearance of a wide range of rigid components, including:

Automotive:

  • Emblems & badges

  • Grilles & trim

  • Headlight & taillight bezels

  • Dash panels

  • Interior hard trim

  • Brackets & small builder parts

  • Classic car trim pieces

Motorcycle:

  • Fender trim

  • Side covers

  • Handlebar components

  • Headlight bezels

  • Decorative engine covers (non-heat areas)

Creative & Decorative:

  • Art pieces

  • Sculptures

  • Decorative hardware

  • Showroom displays

  • Retail fixtures

  • Retro pieces needing a modern shine

If it’s rigid and fits within 2.5 ft³, we can restore it.

WHEN RESTORATION
IS POSSIBLE

We can restore parts that are:

  • Dull or faded

  • Heavily scratched

  • Pitted or uneven

  • Chipped or flaking

  • Discoloured

  • Sun-worn or UV-damaged

  • Missing the original shine entirely

Our restoration process involves resurfacing, smoothing, refinishing, and re-chroming the part using our liquid chrome system for a brilliant, uniform finish.

WHAT WE CANNOT RESTORE

To avoid wasting your time and money, here’s what cannot be restored:

  • Rims (high-wear → chipping)

  • Pieces located near high heat (engine headers, manifolds)

  • Flexible materials

  • Soft or unsealed wood

  • Large objects exceeding 2.5 ft³

  • Structural chrome plating on metal (we do decorative finishes only)

If you're unsure whether your part qualifies, send us a photo and we’ll confirm.

SIZE LIMITS & TURNAROUND

Maximum part size:
Up to 2.5 ft³.

Turnaround time:
Chrome restoration typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on:

  • the amount of pitting / damage

  • surface repairs required

  • material type

  • the level of smoothing & prep

  • colour choice (silver or coloured chrome)

Pieces with deeper blemishes or severe pitting may require extra prep time — and we’ll always tell you upfront.

WHY LIQUID CHROME IS PERFECT FOR RESTORATION WORK

Unlike traditional chrome plating, liquid chrome:

  • Works on plastics AND metals

  • Won’t warp delicate or thin materials

  • Allows repairs, smoothing, and resurfacing

  • Can restore discontinued or impossible-to-replace parts

  • Is perfect for classic cars with plastic trim

  • Has full colour chrome options (like gold or black chrome)

  • Delivers that mirror-bright, show-quality finish

It’s the ideal solution for vintage pieces that need modern restoration.
